LIV, lead singer, lead guitarist, and songwriter.
EVA, sister of Liv and the band's iconic and ultra talented bassist as well as harmonist.
LEE, Liv & Eva's father, as well as legendary drummer who has been playing since age 8 and has been in many bands, those of which include family bands.
Fun Fact: Lee met his wife and the girls' mother in a band. His mother was also in that band.
Originally from Dayton, Ohio, the Baker family always had music in their life. Shawna, "Mama Noelle" met a woman one day named Debbie at a local music store called Dayton Band. Debbie invited Shawna to a band practice to jam as a guitar player and back up singer. The two became best friends and played music together frequently in their southern rock band, 'Ransom'. Debbie's son got out of the Navy a few months later. He had previously been the band's drummer and was invited to play for them again. Shawna liked the drummer but didn't want to ruin her and his mom's friendship so they just stayed friends and bandmates. As time went on, the drummer and Shawna ended up dating and got married. They had two girls, Olivia and Eva, in that order. As the girls were growing up, they discovered music on their own terms, Lee and Shawna never wanted to push it on their children. They felt it was something they had to find on their own. As they did, Olivia performed her first performance in fourth grade at the age of 9. She performed No One by Alicia Keys in front of the whole school. She said she "had never felt more at home than when she was on stage". Later on, she entered the world of acapella and jazz band when she was a freshman in high school. Olivia traveled with the high school jazz band as their singer. By sophomore year, she was in one of the top high school acapella groups in the country, Forte. That year, she led the group and took them to the ICHSA's in New York where they won second in the country and performed at the Apollo theater. The next year, the Baker family moved down south to Franklin, TN solely to be surrounded by art and music. The family never imagined the adventure and priceless experiences this move would have in store for them. They knew Olivia would at least casually pursue music as she had been writing songs since she was eleven, but as she progressed in her passion for performance and the art of songwriting, she decided to utilize her dad's gifts and vast experience of performing to go in it together for the first time as a family. Before the family moved to Tennessee, Lee moved first for his new job as the rest stayed behind in Ohio to sell their house. Lee would let off steam playing jam nights at The Pond in Franklin and met a very special guy. Chris Carothers, step-son of Big Kenny of the popular country duo, Big 'N Rich. Chris became a very special person and asset in the start of the family's music career. He was the starting bass player as Eva was a background singer and also became their producer. Once Eva picked up bass, Chris became full time producer, producing the band's first album, Facing Forward. The next year, Facing Forward topped the iTunes charts as number one album on the singer/songwriter charts, listed next to Sheryl Crow and James Taylor. A year after that, the band came out with their album, SHE, recorded and produced by Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood's guitar player, Johnny Garcia. Liv Noelle and Johnny performed on the Nashville Today Show promoting their new album together. Soon after, Covid19 spread world-wide and musicians everywhere didn't know what to do because there were no more live shows. Liv Noelle turned to Facebook Live. They performed on Facebook live three nights a week during quarantine and brought their Facebook following from 7.5K followers to 53K followers. The most amazing aspect of this online growth was the community and sense of belonging centered around Liv Noelle's music. People from all around the world were connecting with each other and keeping in touch when someone was sick, feeling lost, or embarking on a new adventure. These people following the band's journey were much more than fans, Liv Noelle decided to rename their followers True Loves. Without Liv Noelle's True Loves, the band would not have the success and enjoyment out of their craft that they do. The True Loves of Liv Noelle have given the band so much and Lee, Liv and Eva make it a priority to give back to them as much as they've given Liv Noelle. As of late, Liv Noelle has accepted a new key board player, Michael Klooster of Smash Mouth. The band has already had so much fun playing and traveling with Michael, as well as studio sessions centered around sync licensing for TV/Film. So much more material to come from Liv Noelle.
